Preschool:
Ranging in age from 2 ½ to approximately 3 ½, most of these youngsters are fresh to a preschool environment. We instruct our curriculum in fun, creative ways that focus on important issues like socialization, sharing and dealing with our feelings in verbal, non-aggressive ways. Children at this age are always imbibing information through all their senses. Our curriculum and monthly themes are based on real-world sensory experiences in order to cater to this need. After several months, we begin recognizing letters and shapes and have many projects associated with the development of pre-reading skills. We emphasize large-motor skills and prepare the children for fine motor tasks like holding crayons and scissors. Twice-annually, we hold parent-teacher conferences informing them of how their child is developing both socially, emotionally as well as academically, which parents find extremely helpful.
The monthly themes have been devised to help your child build cognitive, language, motor and social skills and self-esteem. We do not require our preschool kids to be potty-trained when entering school, although we encourage them to express this independence when they are ready.
Day Care:
As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. That’s why we offer enrichment programs before and after school and Summer Camps that address the changing and more varied needs of growing school-age children. Children spend time with friends and enjoy activities that are relevant to school-age interests. We help children think, feel, and experience new challenges.
In our programs, school-age children will develop complex coordination skills, engage with peers, and practice group study. They will begin to express their goals and wishes as they seek self-identity and explore interests and behaviors in an age-appropriate way.

We believe that every child is gifted and talented. Glittering Stars summer camps are designed for young children who aren’t yet independent enough to fend for themselves away from home. Children at Glittering Stars summer camps are watched closely as they learn the most basic skills of being outdoors. Glittering Stars summer camps often include gentle activities such as pottery, Bollywood Dance, Group Juggling Activities, Trust building Activities and many more such events.
